Elusive Canadian chamber folk trio Musk Ox have finally returned with "Inheritance", their newest offering of captivating instrumental explorations. Continuing the tradition of excellence established by their celebrated 2014 release "Woodfall", Musk Ox have once again delivered an album of expansive depth and stunning beauty.

Though well aware of how highly regarded "Woodfall" remains among fans, the members of Musk Ox were unbothered by expectation, remaining dedicated to refining their musical vision by delivering their strongest record yet. Once more featuring classical guitarist Nathanael Larochette (known for his acoustic interludes on Agalloch's 'The Serpent & The Sphere'), cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne (member of Leprous/The Visit/Kamancello), and violinist Evan Runge (member of The Night Watch, alongside Larochette) the trio's undeniable and unique chemistry is on full display.

Containing their most ambitious as well as intimate material, "Inheritance" is the sound of a Musk Ox achieving new levels of skill and maturity, crafting heartfelt sound worlds of imagination with awe-inspiring results.
